Aberdeen City
Aberdeen is the oil capital of Europe.  That it has the 2nd largest greenhouse in Europe at Duthie Park. Famous for it Granite  lots of beautiful buildings.  Old Aberdeen with its cobbled streets ‘Fittie’ Footdee  a quaint fishing village with its old cottages and smoke houses.  The Maritime museum telling the history of the fishing industry through to the oil industry .Excellent Universities.


The Region

Aberdeen enjoys an impressive mix of beautiful and varied countryside with a busy and interesting city at its heart. The region boasts nearly 300km of coastline, winding rivers, vast forests and open countryside and includes a number of NE towns.

The region has around 20 small towns and features quiet coastal retreats such as Pennan and popular highland tourist destinations like Braemar. The region also features two of Scotland’s five skiing destinations, the Lecht and Glenshee.

Stonehaven only 15 miles away with Dunnottar Castle on the outskirts.  Drum & Crathes Castle Steam Railway now open  at Crathes Castle Fraser /Balmoral Lochnagar Distillery Glen Garioch Distillery all within easy reach of Aberdeen.   Various Golf Courses.  Royal Deeside with its beautiful countryside, Feughside where the salmon jump.






Scotland

Scotland is located in Northern Europe and is bounded to the east by the North Sea and by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and North. It is around half the size of England, but most of its landmass is comprised of moorlands, mountains and about 800 islands.
