The Region
Aberdeen enjoys an impressive
mix of beautiful and varied countryside with a busy
and interesting city at its heart. The region boasts
nearly 300km of coastline, winding rivers, vast forests
and open countryside and includes a number of NE
towns.
The region has around 20 small towns and features quiet
coastal retreats such as Pennan and popular highland
tourist destinations like Braemar. The region also features
two of Scotland’s five skiing destinations, the Lecht
and Glenshee.
